Pope to visit Ecumenical Patriarchate as part of Turkey visit

Pope Leo XIV will visit the spot of the Ecumenical Patriarchate astatine the Phanar successful Istanbul arsenic portion of his trip to Turkey successful November, the Ecumenical Patriarchate has announced.

According to the patriarchate, the two religion leaders will travel to Nicaea, Bithynia, connected November 28, while the pope will officially visit the See of the Ecumenical Patriarchate astatine the Phanar connected November 29–30 to take portion successful celebrations for the feast of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called, laminitis of the Church of Constantinople.
