Urban planning department engineers to strike for a week

Urban readying section engineers will stage a weeklong strike from October 27 to 31, suspending the issuance of gathering permits, their union said connected Tuesday.

The engineers cited debased salaries, ongoing understaffing, and the government’s program to transfer municipality readying departments from municipalities to the state-controlled Hellenic Cadastre (Ktimatologio) arsenic the main reasons for the action.
