A two-seater training craft crashed successful Tatoi, northbound of Athens, connected Wednesday morning, authorities said.

According to aboriginal reports, the mishap occurred during takeoff when portion of the aircraft’s wing detached and the level fell to the ground. The incidental happened during a scheduled attraction flight, with two pilots connected board.

Both were injured and taken by ambulance to the 251 Air Force General Hospital successful Athens. Their information is presently unknown.

The origin of the clang remains under investigation, with the Hellenic Air Force starring the inquiry.

The aircraft, a P2002-JF, is simply a two-seat, single-engine, low-wing airy level used for the archetypal training of caller cadets astatine the Hellenic Air Force Academy.
