Thessaloniki Port signs pact with Hellenic Train and BDZ

Thessaloniki Port Authority (ThPA), Hellenic Train and Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) signed this week a memorandum of practice aimed astatine strengthening intermodal transport and expanding supply concatenation capabilities successful Southeast Europe.

According to a statement by ThPA, this practice paves the way for the improvement of a strong obstruction freight corridor centered connected the larboard of Thessaloniki, strengthening its transportation with Bulgaria and the markets of the Balkans and Central Europe.

The practice focuses connected upgrading Thessaloniki’s obstruction connectivity, processing competitory freight transport services, reducing transit times and logistics costs, and promoting sustainable transport done railway upgrades.
