The 16th Congress of New Democracy will be held on May 15-17, at the Metropolitan Expo.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will deliver the opening speech on Friday. The opening of the Congress proceedings will be declared by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee Theodoros Roussopoulos.
During the Congress, greetings will be delivered by representatives of European Union member states, officials from the European People’s Party and the European Parliament, as well as representatives of other Greek parliamentary parties.
On Saturday, May 16, a side event on artificial intelligence will take place, with the participation of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
According to an announcement by New Democracy, regarding the organisational aspects of the Congress, delegate registration will take place on Friday from 15:00 to 18:30. Candidacies for the party’s Political Committee will be submitted on Saturday from 14:00 to 16:00, while voting for the election of Political Committee members will take place on Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00.
