The National Gallery released photographs connected Monday day of the artworks vandalized by fundamentalist MP Nikos Papadopoulos of the ultra-orthodox Niki party, who claimed they insulted Christianity.

The Board of Directors of the National Gallery issued a statement condemning the attack, describing it arsenic an enactment of vandalism and censorship that undermines creator expression.

According to the statement, Papadopoulos, on with different individual, vandalized four artworks by creator Christophoros Katsadiotis, which were exhibited arsenic portion of “The Allure of the Bizarre.”
