Greek leadership attends New Year’s liturgy at Athens Metropolitan Church

The state, political, and subject enactment of Greece attended the doxology connected the New Year astatine the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Athens connected Wednesday.

The liturgy was led by Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.

It was attended, among others, by President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, PASOK person Nikos Androulakis, SYRIZA person Sokratis Famellos, Attica Region Governor Nikos Hardalias, and Athens Mayor Haris Doukas.

Greek Parliament was represented by First Vice-President Yiannis Plakiotakis, arsenic President Constantine Tassoulas has been diagnosed with coronavirus.

Following the liturgy, PM Mitsotakis went to the Presidential Mansion to speech accepted greetings with President Sakellaropoulou.
