Extra Easter services on scenic Mt Pilio railway

The scenic 600 mm narrow-gauge railway from Volos to the upland village of Milies successful Pilio (also spelled Pelion) will beryllium moving further services during the Easter holidays, beyond its usual weekend schedule, owed to accrued demand, according to an announcement by Hellenic Train.

Specifically, trains will run connected Holy Thursday (April 17), Good Friday (April 18), Easter Monday (April 21), Tuesday (April 22), and Wednesday (April 23).

On these dates, Train 3800 will depart from Ano Lechonia astatine 10 a.m., with the instrumentality travel from Milies astatine 3 p.m. arsenic Train 3801.

Both directions will see a 15-minute stop astatine Ano Gatzea.
