Elderly woman seriously injured after being hit by truck in Athens suburb

A 74-year-old woman was earnestly injured Monday greeting aft being struck by a factual mixer truck successful Nea Ionia, a bluish suburb of Athens.

The mishap occurred astatine the intersection of Byzantio and Alamanas streets under circumstances that stay unclear.

The woman was deed while crossing the roadworthy and suffered terrible injuries.

She was taken by ambulance to KAT Hospital, where she remains hospitalized.

Traffic constabulary are investigating the incident.
