Wednesday’s mixed league astatine the Greek bourse had mid-caps keeping the benchmark successful the black, conscionable arsenic banks and the blue-chip scale closed the time successful the red. The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) wide scale closed astatine 2,267.45 points, adding 0.05% to Tuesday’s 2,266.42 points. The large-cap FTSE-25 scale contracted 0.03%, ending astatine 5,751.37 points, though mid-caps expanded 1.34%.

The banks scale declined 0.95%, with Eurobank falling 2.53%, National easing 1.37%, Piraeus giving up 0.28% and Bank of Cyprus shedding 0.21%, while Optima roseate 2.01% and Alpha roseate 0.03%.

The reshuffle of the MSCI indexes had GEK Terna upgrading from the MSCI Small Cap scale to the MSCI Greece Standard Index, and mislaid 1.59% connected Wednesday. On the different hand, Metlen outperformed, rising 5.62%.

In total 69 stocks obtained gains, 44 showed losses and 12 remained unchanged.

Turnover amounted to €254.4 million, down from Tuesday’s €286.9 million.

In Nicosia, the wide scale of the Cyprus Stock Exchange decreased 0.19% to 291.04 points.
