The caput of the Albanian Orthodox Church, who was airlifted to infirmary successful Athens owed to complications from a virus, is successful a stable condition, the Evangelismos infirmary said connected Saturday.
Archbishop Anastasios, 95, was taken to the Greek superior connected Friday evening, 4 days aft being admitted to infirmary successful Tirana with what Church officials called a “seasonal virus”.

Anastasios is credited with reviving the Orthodox Church successful Muslim-majority Albania. He has led the Church there for three decades.
